EXPERIENCE DESIGN WORK

UT’S INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICE
Challenge: Promote National Cybersecurity Awareness Month to students and teach them cyber-safety best practices.

What I Did: I co-wrote a choose-your-own-adventure style thread on Twitter, where the user has to protect UT’s treasure, Matthew McConaughey, from getting hacked by making good privacy choices.

EXPERIMENTAL STORYTELLING x YETI

Challenge: Create an experience that immerses Yeti customers in the brand ethos while they await their online delivery.

What I Did: I concepted and wrote YETI: Into the Outdoors - a web-based shopping experience. (A virtual world where customers will adventure, see YETI’s products in the wild, and play outdoor activities.) See more here.

EXPERIMENTAL STORYTELLING x DBOX Haptic
DBOX 4D chairs let viewers enter stories rather than passively watch.

Challenge: Write and shoot a short, branded story that incorporates the affordances of the DBOX chair (vibration patterns, tilting, etc.)

What I Did: I produced a first-person sci-fi thriller where the viewer is trapped in an abandoned office building and must escape. My hypothetical brand partnership was with the ACLU, as this is a story of human rights violations.

EXPERIMENTAL STORYTELLING x 48Moods

Challenge: Write 18 haikus based on weekly themes and post them on the organization’s Instagram account.

What I Did: I wrote 18 haikus inspired by photos I took or graphics I made.  6 of the 18 themes are available to the left (my personal favorites of the bunch).
